Michael J. Dudek is an attorney with the law firm of Leo & Weber, P.C.  His practice concentrates on surety and fidelity law, bankruptcy, construction law, and commercial and general litigation.  He handles a wide array of litigation matters with experience handling complex matters in both state and federal court.

Prior to joining Leo & Weber, Michael was the law clerk for the Honorable Jacqueline P. Cox of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  At the Bankruptcy Court, he drafted numerous published and unpublished opinions and orders involving issues in chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases.  He also assisted the Judge with evidentiary hearings and trials, preparation of the Court's daily motion call, and performed research.

Michael is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois.  He attended The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, graduating with honors in 2007.  During law school, he was an editor for The John Marshall Law Review.

Michael currently resides in Chicago.  In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, traveling, reading, and exercise.
